Cadence App Privacy Policy
Fusion Tech Solution LLP · Effective June 25, 2026
Overview
Cadence is a local-first habit-tracking app built by Fusion Tech Solution LLP. Your personal habit data — records, streaks, goals, completions — never leaves your device. We collect limited anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This section explains exactly what we handle and how.
Data stored on your device
All habit records, completions, streaks, and goals are stored exclusively in a database on your device. This data is:
- Never uploaded to our servers
- Never shared with third parties
- Deleted when you uninstall the app
Sign-in with Apple or Google
When you sign in, we receive your name and email address from Apple or Google. We store this information locally on your device, in secure encrypted storage, solely to personalise your profile screen. We do not transmit it to any server. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern how they handle your credentials during sign-in. Cadence never sees your password.
Analytics data we collect
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous usage data so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. This includes:
- Account events — whether a user signed up or signed in, and which provider (Apple or Google) was used. No names or email addresses are included.
- Feature events — when a habit is created or checked off. No habit names, content, or personal details are included.
- Session data — app open counts and session duration, collected by Firebase automatically.
- Device information — OS version, device model, and country (derived from IP address; the IP itself is not stored).
This data is pseudonymous — linked to a Firebase Installation ID, not your name or email. It is used solely to improve the app and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or process:
- The content of your habits (names, notes, or any personal details)
- Crash reports sent to third-party services
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS; we do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt)
- Precise location data
- Health or fitness data from Apple Health or Google Fit
Notifications
If you enable habit reminders, the notification schedule is computed and stored entirely on your device using the iOS or Android notification system. No reminder content is sent to our servers.
Data retention and deletion
Your habit data lives only on your device — you can delete it at any time by signing out or uninstalling the app. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
Children
Cadence is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify you via an in-app notice on your next launch.
